Just a quick update with some "leader" minis. The one with the hammer will lead some heavy Infantry and the female dwarf will lead some harquebusiers:

I've received my Russian Alternative minis so I should be starting on some Hobgoblins soon.

Thanks for the comments.
I've received my new minis from Russian alternative and have been putting then together.
First up some Hobgoblin infantry. I've thrown a few hand weapons amongst them so that they can be fielded as a "mixed" weapon unit.

Next are some Hobgoblin light cavalry. I really love the sense of movement these guys have.

Lastly some conversion work on some immortals ( although the musician will be field in a unit of Harquebusiers)

Unfortunately I've got a long week ahead at work and won't be able to get some paint on these for a while.

Just completed another unit of Immortals. They will be fielded in units of 6 in Dragon Rampant but by doing another unit this gives me enough to field them in other systems.

I will be starting on the Hobgobs this weekend.

I did these Russian Alternative Hobgoblins over the weekend but have only just had chance to photograph them.

Next up will be some wolf riders.....

It's been so long since I've had a look at this thread, and it's looking amazing! Just like discovering that you've missed a whole box set of your favourite series.

The Evil Vertically Challenged Ones & their Minions are all BEAUTIFULLY painted & based creations, but the Hobgoblins are WONDERFULLY whimsical as well. VERY WELL &
IMAGINATIVELY DONE!
I'm looking forward to the Hobgoblin riders in glorious, full color. They really are a splendid looking band of loonies.

Thanks gents. I thought I'd post some pics of a Chaos Dwarf airship I have built. It is a GW Kharadron Overlords Iron Clad slightly modified to give it that Chaos Dwarf vibe. Hope you like it:

Impressive! I didn't think much of that model when I saw it built stock, but as a Chaos Dwarf airship it works much better aesthetically.

Thought about a Dragon Rampant role for it yet?

It fits the bill!
I think it's a better build than the original model shown on the GW sites.
