As an aside, I tried stripping an old figure that unbeknownst to me was painted in oils. Nitromors didn't touch it! I think I resorted to mineral oil? Was 5yrs ago maybe, can't remember  o_o

Good to know, as I too have used earlier Nitromors for removal of old paint jobs.

If you need to wash off oil paint with figures, I recommend using an ordinary saturated soap solution. After a day you will have a clean metal or plastic. However, probably, can be a problem if the figure has been varnished. I varnish my miniatures are not covered, as oil paints and without varnish very resistant to abrasion (I mean the classical art of paint).
