I have to say it's Helen who keeps me supplied with a queue of oddities to build, particularly for the Italians! I've just started on the master for the Lancia 3RO which will have the 90/53 on the back plus probably the standard truck and maybe General Electric Whiskers' caravan, so the Italians have their version of the Dorchester. Oh and possibly the 100/17 mounted on the back but that's some way away.

Hi Wolt, thanks for your kid words. I'll look to an army shot sometime next year. There is a stage in-which I wish to arrive at before starting the British.

Sorry for my tardiness, but have not been well since the New Year. I managed to finish off some models prior to the New Year. My collection continues as I enjoy the various models available for the two campaigns. Perry Miniatures with some conversions made to provide some character.

You know, your figure painting is lovely, but I feel the vehicle finish doesn't do justice to your obvious painting skills.

It just seems a bit 'flat'. Very neat and tidy, but I always think that vehicles at war will get dirty, scuffed up, chipped, damaged, and the effects of lighting and fading should be noticeable. Have you considered playing with an airbrush to do panel highlights, or zenithal lighting?

Thank you for your kind words and constructive comments. I'm more than happy with the results I wish to achieve. I look upon my painted collection as Toy Soldiers. I don't wish to go any further.
