AP Warpaints - are these any good?

I'm interested in, perhaps, The Warpaints Mega Paint Set   ::)

I think LAF's 'opponenttheory' uses them almost exclusively and going by his paintjobs they really work well 8)
Heard a lot of good comments on them!

I use them mostly for the Bronze and Metal colours.  They cover well and are good value.  Just make sure you shake them well.

I've have incorporated  quite a few into my collection of paints. Price is right and the quality is great

Even though I am mostly using Vallejo Model Colors nowadays, I still like the warpaints. But you really have to water them down.

Get yourself a handful of them and try them out, see if you like them. No amount of other opinions is useful other than what you think. I bought some paints (not AP) after reading loads of rave reviews, convinced they would be perfect, and hated them and sold them on. Try before you buy would be my advice, especially if you are thinking mega set. If you pick up a couple of common colours and a metallic or two, maybe a wash, or get a starter set from ebay. A worthwhile investment I would think.
