Finished and primed - just needs painting now, so these are the last photos.

The base is now sorted, have added the rods.

The proportions for the docking clamps work well - shown here with an Immobiliser Cruiser, but they would work equally well with a Star Destroyer.

The moment of truth....the lighting test. The layer of undercoat has stopped the light leakage (it took 3 cans of primer). I then added some "lights" by using a pin to break the surface of the foamboard, to let through the light from the hangar bays.




Thank you everyone for your encouragement, it's been fun to build.
I'm really enjoying watching all the other "Build Somethings" as they come to fruition.
I'd like to say a big thank you to Jim for running BSC 2017 - it's great to see so many inspiring projects in one place, at one time....
