Thanks everyone!

Now I know that the ship is 'finished', but I couldn't stop fiddling....

...you all know the ship as is...

...now I was having some fun...

.

.

.

.

..

...

...with a bit of a fly past...

...what is the pilot thinking?

Oh dear...

...what will happen?

I'll leave this for Akula to finish off.  :D

Are you and Akula going to join entries to make one of the final scenes from Rogue One? Just saying...... ::)

Dude - it's the movies, it's probably just part of it to give the illusion it's one ;)

Awesome work mate...so an Imperial Star Destroyer in 1/1000 scale...that's 158cm in length, my kind of madness.

 :D

I've got a bad feeling about this....

Don't give him excuses.
Just tell the mad, mad fool that we want a Star Destroyer.
And ALL of one, not just a sneaky glimpse of a portion!

I have to say, this is brilliant.

I've been playing catchup, and when I got to the post with the second corvette I thought it couldn't get better, but then you go and build (the side of, at least) a star destroyer!

Is there a ruleset you'll be using with these, or are they simply builds for the builds' own sake?

You mean people actually play games with their toys?

 :o :o :o

I can't speak for Damas, but I haven't got as far as thinking about rules yet for my own Star Wars fleet project - the easy option would be to either play Armada, or use it as a starting point for a rule set.  The bigger size of the models, and less models on a table, might lend itself to an element of role playing ....?

Either way, this is an awesome looking thread....almost tempted to start a 1/1000 project myself.

Cheers, AWOL.

Yes, I wrote a basic ruleset about 4 years ago and we've played it over the last three BLAM gatherings as well as down my local club.  It's a slowly evolving beast but it works enough for me.

Do eet, do eet!

Now, I couldn't help myself, I'm sorry.

Now this may look familiar...

and a comparison with my 1/1000 scale one.

Now over to Akula for the Star Destroyer.  Gerron with it.  ;D :D
