I agree. The trench coat makes him look more like the Lizard from Spider-Man.

Looked at Croc images and didn't spot a single one with a trench coat. Could've missed one of course. Also, most versions of him don't have a lizard-shaped head but more of a Necromunda Scaly type humanoid one instead. At least the render doesn't have a tail (although some artists seem to like Croc to have one).

It's meant to be based on Killer Croc from Jim Lee's Hush. I thought it would have been easier to go with a version that most would have known but maybe the guys behind the game are fans of this version.
