Beautifully done - they look amazing.

I love the simple color scheme.

Would love to see some crew crawling over them though.

The largest one looks a little precarious on it's stand - it's obviously stable though?

And the arms race continues. I defy anyone to catch me now

For tonight's perusal we have an armoured gunboat and defense platform

The gunboat still has the details, aerofoils, engine block and hull to go on (this weekend).

And a comparison shot next to the smaller neff

Then we have the defense platform. Lots still to do, the three turrets will be armed with heavy machine guns (the reason being to be explained at a later date

), lots of planking to do and I'm still a bit undecided about the hull. There will be a hatch on the top and some engine 'bits' on the lower deck.

Probably not to clear at the moment but all will be revealed

I don't know where your going with the platform though.

Is it a floating thing like the neffs? Or is it a tower? Or something else?

The platform floats, it'll be a lot clearer when the decking and walls are on

Are you going to have a Japanese civil war with these because I don't think anyone else could compete with the amount of Nefs

Reaaly like the idea of the floating platform

One thing about the gunboat though. The flag staff at the front wouldn't last very long

These nefs are truly stunning

If I was being picky,

I would suggest they nefs need some railing to stop the plucky Japanese falling overboard!

I can't wait to see a fleet action battle report!
