@Gargobot: Thanks very much! :) Yup, all for the same gentleman. Yup, his collection looks awesome (and I don't use this word lightly) at this point. :)

Heyhey, working on a new batch of SDE figures:

Boy, these take long to paint. Even though they're just lowly monsters. First time I seriously regretted going NMM on these SDE minis. ;)

@DefNala: :D Thanks very much! I did enjoy indeed. Saturday to Sunday we spent at a small-ish town, witnessing more or less folklore-y things...

Drinks and good times were had. On the Sunday I had dinner with the parents and stuff. Yeah, good times.

@Nord: Thanks very much! Yar, I think I mentioned it before - it's always a bit weird getting into the mindset to paint these minis, especially if I painted say historical 25mm figures right before that. But it's all in the variation, isn't it. :)

Done! Lighting's still a bit naff, but I hope that you like the paintjobs!

Awesome paintjobs on awesome mini's.

I've been tempted to get some SDE just to paint. Those mini's are so much fun.

@Breazer: Thanks for the comment! It's basically our alpine (and boozed-up) version of zwarte Piet (got slightly repurposed for more effect and fun in recent years).

@Michi: Yar, I was surprised to see it (and they made a hell of a lot of noise with it too :D ). First time for me at one of these parades/runs. Good fun.

@The Voivod: Cheers! I paint a LOT of these for customers and still I cartch myself looking at even more SDE figures. You gotta get 'into' it at first, but then it's fun to see where you can cut corners on these minis and what stuff you have to pay real attention to and all.

Ah yes, the Krampus Gang and their Fiery Ride of Death, a most ancient tradition still honored today in its original and unchanged way!

Those trolls(?) look amazing! Maybe I should get some stuff for SDE, I think that might lend itself well to my painting style...

@Gargobot: :P That's a nice thing about that whole Krampus stuff - there's barely anything about the old tradition left, at least with the clubs it seems. So more cosplay and performance than violence. No less boozing though, it seems. We met that ganz (sans costumes) before and after the "parade". Perfectly regular young ladies and lads, with their skinny jeans, their baseball caps and all. Yeah, come to think of it... those minis should go well with your painting style. You do the colours and such stuff. Should fit nicely.

Yikes, it's been a while, hasn't it. But now I'm finally working on another batch of SDE figures again. :) Mostly baddies and critters, but some characters are in there, such as lovely Pudge here:

Right, that's them done. On the desk right now:

2 Shallow Graves

Shamble Priest is as good as done

2 Dust Mages actually are done

Still rather unpainted I have Gruesome George, 2 Grabby Houses and Dust Coven Necromancer.

So that's that. :) Hope you like the minis!
