AWI fun with 54mm and All the King's Men
« on: 09 July 2017, 07:50:44 PM »
A few weeks ago my sons came in for a game day with the old man.  One of the games was a fun little bash of AWI using All the King's Men rules and 54mm plastics.  The British were charged with clearing out a Rebel strong point.  Unfortunately for them a string of Rebel initiatives led to the Americans getting to move far forward and interfere with the Brits deployment onto the board.  By the point time was called the British had suffered some severe casualties and were nowhere near the objective.  A Yank win, but of course the Brits looked darn good in defeat.

A few pics of some units in bivouac:

Figures are mostly Armies in Plastic, some with head swaps using ATKM heads (such as the Scots).  There are also some other manufacturers sprinkled in as well.

Looks like a fun game.
Always fun when you can play with your kids.
