I think my favourite thing about it -- and there's a lot to like -- is that it's called the "Mary Ellen Carter".

You have your fellow Lead heads to thank for that; A while back, I put up a poll to decide the name of the ship, and that was the winner. I was hoping for something a bit more pulpish, but I stuck to my guns and let the people's decision win.

Hmm, maybe it's time to work on her a bit more. Still have the captain's quarters to furnish....

This is absolutely one of my favourite threads on the forum. I love all the rich and warm colours of your miniatures, and the boat, but that goes without saying I would dare to say. Its like Hammers sailors and habour seedy habitants, they also are very nice and sort of stir an interest, from I do not know where. Even though I did grow up in a habour eviroment, with my relatives being sailors and fishermen, might be that :D

Just saw this thread. In addition to the the high praise for your figures, I must say that as a proper Canadian, I love your boat's name.  :-* :-* :-*

Have just discovered this thread (and, I'm ashamed to admit the whole Pulp section...why?  I've no idea, but I now realise most of my games should be in here! Yargh, five years on the wrong forum!) and this is some of the very best work I've ever seems - superb!  :-*
