I may have thought of another use for bald pulp-scale heads. 8)

(Assuming that all the recent refinement from that quarter suits pulp scale. It could still need heroic. Hmm...)

Really don't see the difference in heads  They look good though!
Barbarella: What's that screaming? A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming...

I'm thinking heroic scale might be best for those. GW figures have wiiiiiiiide shoulders, especially with the armour so a bald pulp scale head might look a little lost. The lack of hair also means the bald heads appear smaller than their haired counterparts (despite being exactly the same size).

I'll have to check though. From the photos, the 4th gen hybrid heads do look smaller than usual GW, but the proportions of the rest of the figure are still pretty bulky.

With the release of Fine and Pulp Scale Female Heads 2, I thought I'd have another play around with some Frostgrave plastic figures.

I'd already posted these Frostgrave cultist conversions on another thread, with more info about the process (LINK).

This time I decided to have a go with the Frostgrave soldiers. These are Pulp Scale female heads, with heads from both sets of sprues.

There was no putty involved, just careful placement of the head, as far back as possible. You can drill out a socket for the head if that helps. It's best to attach the head first, then the arms to get the positioning right.

I think it works quite nicely. You could go further- as the bodies are plastic it would be easy to slightly narrow the shoulders. The Frostgrave cultist arms (seen on the archer) are also less bulky so might further help too. You won't get slinky-hip, wasp-waist sex bombs but you can make some cool, bad-ass female fighters, wrapped up for the cold.

While I was making these, I found myself endlessly repeating "You know nuthin', Jon Snow". ;D

:D Nice. They really do fit very well.

(I should show off some stuff where the heroic heads fit very well. Needs just a little more putty and work, though.)

Looks absolutely spiffing!

I just recently ordered some Perry Agincourt French Infantry (for various purposes), and I might want to add some female warriors to their ranks (and I do have a set of Frostgrave Soldiers... somewhere...)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Thanks guys, the conversions turned out better than I'd expected.

Yes please!

I don't have any IA figures, but my guess would be Pulp Scale.
