The brush work is excellent.  I am scared and intrigued to visit this school

Some threads I follow for inspiration, you know, people who are better than me but I reckon I can do what they do one day.

Then there's threads like this where I come to gawp in disbelief at the painting, confident that given a thousand years practice I'd still never come close.

Amazing work.

Very nice additions indeed. They look mischievous though; I wonder if they came that way, or if the order has made them like this.

For more additions to the Order Famulous' charges, take a look at Crooked Dice's Savage Schoolgirls; they would fit in perfectly (and add a lot to the sisters' workload for sure)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks, I have a list of painters I gawp at too lol
I commissioned a mini from Stone Cold Lead and about died when it arrived and I saw how smooth and crisp it is  o_o

Dang, I forgot about those, thanks! Just placed an order with Crooked Dice too! Maybe next time :)

Re: Dr Mathias's Warhammer 40K Thread - Inquisition - Completed!!!

This post is the culmination of a three and a half year project- to paint every 28mm Inquisitor Games Workshop has produced to date. Since starting the project in January 2020, I tried to paint one Inquisitor per month, switching back and forth from the earliest release to the most recent.

Today, I finished Inquisitor Karamazov!

I ran into a few pitfalls along the way. Games Workshop released two Inquisitors (Draxus and Cartavolnus) while I was on the project. More problematic, I discovered I had forgotten about the Black Library limited edition Eisenhorn- it took a full year to track down a set. Huge thanks to Axiom for helping me with that.

Lastly, I thought I had purchased Karamazov and had him stored, but it seems I was wrong about that, so I had to track down his metal version too. In the meantime, I nabbed loose Eisenhorn and Silas Hand minis from eBay, so I have a single of them along with the figure placed in their dioramas.

The real kicker is I can only say I have painted all the GW 28mm Inquisition for about three days, since they are officially releasing more in the new Kill Team box this Saturday... needless to say I am chagrined!!!

A cracking collection of the Imperiums best...or maybe worst servants. I applaud your vision and grit in tracking them all down.

Look on it this way, you can always claim you PAINTED (past tense) all the Inquisitors.
You don't have to say that they then added more.
By the way I would be happy if I did just one up to your standard.

A terrific achievement, made even better by the superb paintjobs. My favourites are the brilliantly bonkers Rogue Trader Ordo Malleus figures with their gorgeous Moebius-esque colours :)

Really glad I was able to help in some small way to fill the gap!

Awesome! Karamazov is such a brilliantly barmy figure!

If your collection is just inquisitors I think your record might be safe for a while? Isn't the new set just hangers-on?

Glorious effort. Now, how’s  your tally looking on all the inquisitorial hangers on: acolytes, crusaders, demon hosts etc. etc. etc?
