Dutch Pike and Spanish Shot
« on: 25 September 2017, 07:03:34 PM »
Thought you might appreciate my progress on my Dutch Revolt armies. I offered to run a game at the club next month using Donnybrook so I need to pull my finger out and get some more bits and pieces painted. In the mean time heres what's been done so far.
Dutch Regiment

And three Spanish Companies

They look fantastic! I see some Foundry there, what other manufacturers do you have?

There are lots of Foundry models in there but the Spanish are mostly the old citadel Estalians and the Gamezone imperials plus a few foundry thrown in.

Do they work together? Sizewise? I would have thought Foundry was much smaller.

Very nicely painted! Beautiful flags too!
I wish you have many enjoyable games with them!

@Hammers, they fit perfectly. The Foundry Elizabethans, ie the old Citadel Historical range that was sculpted by the Perry's are smaller but I use the Swashbucklers and Seadogs range.

Fantastic collection, beautifully painted.  I quite enjoyed it.  Are some of them refugees from your Elizabethan Gothic games ?

Yeah. Well spotted. They were always going to be dual purpose. I'll hopefully get round to playing more if those games soon.
