Your flagstone bases on those snotlings are amazing. Did you glue on each individual "stone"?

I did this to start with, so yes I did with these snots, but it is insanely time consuming and was really only done to preserve the slotta bases. So for some miniatures I will do this, but for others I have begun to use Wills Plasticard - York Stone design (the skaven gutter runners which are nearly completed beside me now have no slotta tabs) . It's perfect and saves hours in labour.

This is the link, it's tough getting started, but we'll worth the effort once you get signed up. The Facebook page redirects here.

The owner Littlemonk is a man-machine, I've never know anyone so committed to his work and he is singlehandedly keeping the game engaging and exciting.

It's also never too late to start, but I'd source everything 3rd party personally now, the game is too highly priced for the original now.

Perfect!

What models do you use for the doors/portcullises?
Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act

Those were from Zealot miniatures I believe, I should probably stick a post up about those too, and some secret weapon cave doors I painted up too. Ha! Turns out I probably painted more up than I thought.

Thanks :D I have loads of Citadel stuff from that era and I have no problems with "counts as", so I'll jump through the hoops and what's there.

Hey Rusty-

It was a pleasure chatting with you on reddit, and I'm thrilled to see you active again over here!

Going back to the beginning, I do believe I remember this thread. Once again, excellent work all around; huge fan of your painting.

Haha, same. I did so many of these diorama photo shoots I started to panic I'd lost my mind, but it just reminded me of those old white dwarf ones.
Hoping to get a game in soon with almost fully painted minis (will need to plan the dungeon around what I've done, haha)

Thanks for the kind words too, I'm dropping another tile in a min too  ;D

Tomb chamber finished! Only three or four more left of the tiles, but thousands of miniatures.

Will need to do a full group shot at some point
