I quite like your builds :-)

Love the new couple of builds - where is the head from on the last one?

Thank you! He's also from Victrix Vikings. Probably my favourite head on the sprue, a great windswept beard. You can see the same head on the Paladin in the DnD party.

Another sprue set I need to add to the growing mountain of plastic

The Wild Hunt assembles! Five for now, we'll see if I get more later. These are the riders, just mounted on bases for painting. Just have a look at pg 2 for an example of the deer they ride.

GW Wild Riders with heads from Victrix vikings and Frostgrave barbarians. Spears, bows and quivers from Oathmark Elf infantry.

Another bunch of warriors finished. Both my last models painted for 2019 and my first for 2020.

Thank you both! The Frostgrave female plastics are really nice, though I think the wizard set has much better sculpts for heads.

The Autumnwood can be a dangerous place, but there are those who call it home. The wild tribes of the deep woods are often happy to help the rangers in a scrap. Undisciplined as they are, they can be clever at harrying an enemy from the terrain

A point of Levy, 12 models. I used what was left over of the two kits of Perry Ansar that formed the foundation of my Irish project a while back. Link here. I also had some Perry Zulus around, and they contributed some bodies but I stuck to the Ansar javelins as the Zulu weaponry is a bit to distinctive. Heads from Victrix (a couple of Gauls, kindly donated by Koyote), Frostgrave and Oathmark.

I think that is some excellent kit bashing.

Progress! Last day of winter holidays, and I've just about finished a playable force. Two more units to do, but one of those is almost done, just needs varnish and basing.

Warlord:

First Ranger:

Archdruid:

12 Warriors:

12 Warriors with bows:

3 Bears (quadruped creatures in SAGA)

Along with the dogs posted earlier, this is 7 out of 8 points needed for a regular size game. Pretty good progress since November in my opinion.

What do you think?
