Great additions to your collection, that should see a lot of use.

Nicely done! I like the tentacles - simple and effective - and will very probably borrow the idea in due course...
Go right ahead. I have no shame at all when it comes to copying someone else's good idea.

IThanks. I hope they get more than one use. The fountain can be used for various games.

My newest additions. The black figures are Shadows from WizKids. Nothing special but they're quite nice for what they are and they can represent several different fiends as required. The two nuns are the Frostgrave Sigilist wizard and apprentice set. A nice set but somewhat unusual. And some more snakemen.

Nice painting, I especially like the sigilists/nuns. The wizkids stuff is a bit like the reaper bones models, I think. They're nice for what they are (that is affordable/cheap) but a bit of a chore to clean up prior to painting.

The sigilist/nuns are good just a bit unusual. WizKids/Bones... They're good for those creatures and things when you don't want to spend a lot of money on them.

Great work mate!

Thanks Rick.

Re: Back to Fantasy ~ An Elf Lord, an Archer and the Furniture

I'm trying to keep up a steady flow of figures and creatures. This lot come from a variety of makers: Oathmark (the elf lord), the archer is from Mantic, the leaches are Reaper Bones and the furniture is a mix of Mantic and Wizkids. I'll probably take a rest from fantasy soo to focus on 15mm ancients. Until that time I'll keep working on them.

As usual htere are more pics and thoughts on my blog @:

Next off the work bench are these little people. The barbarian has a very familiar look (what that square-cut black mane, etc...) and is from Reaper Bones. I did a bit of conversion work on him because I didn't like his sword. The she-elf is also Reaper and was a really nice figure to work on.

Those are very nice. I like the conversion, it looks quite natural. Your painting on the Bones figure (or both if the elf is also Bones) shows how well they can paint up.

Thanks Pattus Magnus. It's a nice figure and it was easy to work on it.
