The green stuff work is almost done on the next few conversions, along with the first Dreadnought.....
I recently managed to get my grubby mitts on a large hoard of RT Marines (Cheers, Tarkers!

), meaning I now have a good number of figures in hand which will keep me busy for some time.
This also means that I now have multiples of some sculpts and, as I would like every Marine to be an individual, a little modification is in order, so....
The next three Marines are done.....

....but..... Confession time: These are not 'rescues' but conversions!
(Yep, I chopped them up...!).
The three figures above are some of the multiples that I now have.
On the left toting the Bolter has simply had a few extra armour plates added.
The Brother with the chainsword on the right has had his head removed (I have already painted that head twice and do not really get on with it..) which has been replaced with an antique helmet and a little GS work to help the join. He also had his right shoulder pad enlarged to match the helmet better.
The Heavy Bolter in the middle is a sculpt that I now have quite a few of.
He has had his helmeted head removed and placed on his belt. This has been replaced with the head of the chainsword wielder and an armoured 'gorget' added.
I damaged the heavy weapon whilst being a little overzealous with the 'head surgery' and had to repair the end of it.
D'oh!

As for the Dreadnought, that has just had the last bits of GS added.
Pictures will be posted tomorrow.
