Thanks man, high praise :)
Now working on some Cyberpunk stuff...but once that's done it's time for more Bloodborne!

"Ooh, what's that smell... The sweet blood, ooh, it sings to me! It's enough to make a man sick."

Father Gascoigne...and his bestial form when he transforms halfway through the fight. This is the first real boss in the video game and it sets the bar for the rest. He is a hunter, just like you. So he uses the same techniques and weapons, but at a whole different level. And halfway he loses his humanity and gives in to the plague hidden in the blood and transforms into a bloodlusting beast. That makes him a very tough challenge for a lot of new players and I think all players who completed the game remember this fight well and fondly. So excellent models to paint and fun to do well. The bestial form had to be bloody, just like in the game and artwork.

And a quick follow-up, the first of the Church Giants.

These are really huge (it's a 50mm) base and are excellent translations from the video game. But I don't want too many duplicates, so I snipped the stock's model axe and snipped it off. With some putty I sculpted flames around his hands, so he now resembles the Church Giant from the Lecture Hall in the video game:

Fun to paint, the enormous white cloak was very interesting to do and the OSL adds some colour and vibrance.
I have a 'normal' Church Giant lined up as the next model.

Thanks man! They still are a lot of fun to do, love how different they all are to paint due to the different type of designs

Thanks guys! Here's the second one, this time the stock model. So a Giant carrying a huuuuuuge axe. It can be very rough in the video game and in the board game he can one-shot you too. So that should be fun to face off against!

Next up will be the Bloodstarved Beast. If you don't know what that is...you're in for a real Gothic Horror treat :D

Great work with what can be a difficult palette.  OSL is fantastic in particular.

I love this thread, those are so good. I hated those guys the first time I met them in the game.

Not played Bloodbourne yet (though done all of Dark Souls) so not familiar with the creatures etc. but they look great and your paint work really makes them "shine".

Thank you guys!
And now for a true Gothic Horror monster...the Blood-Starved Beast. A terrifying monster who had its flesh flayed and torn off and drained of blood, now oozing poison and craving blood. An iconic boss from the game and a very hard one for a lot of new players. Fast attacks, erratic movement, and a dangerous poison effect that can quickly kill you.
For painting it was quite easy, but I had a lot of fun with the gorey and sticky effects on him. He stands out from the other monsters, being so sticky and red...but I think it works well on this guy.

Next I will paint some treasure chests and the important lamps for the game, so I can play some fully painted games.
