Love the painting but I would be interested to see one with a couple of winter tufts and a few melting snow patches?

I'm just waiting for the snow powder to come back into stock, will definitely be adding that to them. Will agree it's a bit brown at the moment.

A little delay while distracted with all those "fantasy things" but I'm back to painting the rest of my WW2 Winter Brits. I've done four of the Empress figures in the jackets - lovely sculpts although having to relearn the scheme based on the finer detail.

I also managed to get my hands on the snow powder and I am VERY happy with the look of it - it helps to set off the green and brown of the main figures while keeping the "it's bloody grim" look.

Also if anyone wants a comparison, the guys in the foreground right are the Empress figures, the rest are Warlord. Overall they seem to fit together relatively well, maybe wouldn't intermix in the same units but also wouldn't be too bad alongside each other

Thank you! I'm really happy with them and it's definitely hit the stage where I am really excited about the idea of having a full platoon of them good to go by the time I'm finished

Now if you have the warlord Brit head with the bandage you could have some red snow! lol

You know, I'm using that head on my Sniper's spotter...

I might have to give that a go.

I realise I left this thread to fall asleep a bit but... I completed the platoon of Brits!

In addition, I've also started work on the extra figures and support options. First up was the Senior Command element (including the medic, piper and signaller)

Very nice painting on those Brits. The Command team is excellent, especially the Piper.

Yup, some of my favourite painted minis on here.

Btw...did you see the limited edition War without hate release from warlord?

I got one in the post.  Now the Brit needs his knobby knees covering as he’s dressed for desert....but a tiny bit of gs will render him a useful addition to your winter Brits.

Don’t worry, the gerboa is in its own stand!

Terrible at checking the thread but thanks for all the comments! I've taken a little bit of a break to do some things that aren't brown and brown. I'll be returning to them soon for Phase 2...

Those all look great, the Empress and Warlord mix well.
