Hmmmmm🥴

Ok, so time for a few minis then……forgive my mediocre attempt at painting monsters, but here are the two hapless Mancs (one pikeman no doubt and an officer) that have been turned!

I suppose I’d best paint a few “dog” soldiers next….

Thank you chaps, appreciated!

So, I give you “Dog Rough Soldiers”!

I based these on my own regiment in the SK, the Earl of Manchester’s…..and the name tickles me!

I just painted a handful for now to see if I enjoyed it.  Painting ECW has never really appealed, I get to play it 1:1 scale.  However, for a light skirmish game, they are ok.  A mix here but I do like the Bloody Miniatures fellas.

well, I know a lot don't agree with me (which I still find baffling tbh), but these are the kind of photos / set-ups that should be extensively illustrating Miniatures Rule-books.

Just fantastic.

Terrific photos, the hedges work best I think, they add to the creepy overgrown feel you want for a bit of Horror gaming. That's not to say the fences don't work! I just like the idea of a tumble down, graveyard surrounded by thorny out of control hedgerows!

I have some of the superb Bloody Miniatures and am seriously contemplating moving them up the painting queue as this is inspiring me to do some ECW era horror gaming... ;)

Thanks for the comments guys!

Yes the Bloody Miniatures are really cool minis.   Personally, I’m looking forward to the third release minis, I think I can use those from what I’ve seen.

I’m debating painting the dismounted cavalry next….or maybe a witch……..anyway, we will see.

The Bloody Miniatures are lovely,
& you have done them justice.
The pictures, as has been said, should be
in Rule Books & Magazine articles.
Like others I will be influenced by this &
move my BM figs. up the paint queue.

Shan't give them a 'Silly name' like
'Manchester's'. I am thinking of a
name with far more gravitas...
Tower Hamlets, yes, that is it. lol lol lol

Gravitas???

From Urban Dictionary….

“Tower hamlets is place of drug dealing, violence and highest knife crime population in the eastend” - lovely!

Quote
During the English Civil War Manchester strongly favoured the Parliamentary interest. Although not long-lasting, Cromwell granted it the right to elect its own MP. Charles Worsley, who sat for the city for only a year, was later appointed Major General for Lancashire, Cheshire and Staffordshire during the Rule of the Major Generals. He was a diligent puritan, turning out ale houses and banning the celebration of Christmas; he died in 1656.[30]
Wot no Christmas & no Pubs !!!!! Lets go back to Tower Hamlets. :D
