5 boxes have just walked through the door ;D ;D ;D  Problem is I am away for a few weeks so can't get a start on them :(

Who makes the Triceratops???  The look brilliant.  I have a couple of GW that I picked up at a bring n buy but would love some more.

Thanks everybody, the Triceratops are 1/35 and made by Tamiya.  An older set but really liked the look of these and for only €8,00 a piece also affordable as I wanted at least four of them.

great idea with the Triceratops. I will have to remember them for a future sci-fi project.

This whole project is just brilliant. If I hadn’t still a good sized 15mm VSF project, I‘d have long fallen into the trap of starting my own.
Love what you’re doing with those old dinosaur models!

Very nice project and really inspiring! Thx!

Any plans to add some germans in there for the 1889 flair?

Thanks everybody, yes might add some of the Perry Miniatures Franco-Prussian Prussians and French as a faction.

Although for the moment limited to some British infantry and cavalry.

I like those conversions a lot! It looks like the kitbashed parts fit together quite smoothly - I probably wouldn’t have noticed that they are kitbashed if you hadn’t mentioned it.

This is coming together beautifully .  Should give the German colonial forces a good hiding.

What rules will you use?

Thanks everybody, not sure yet but most likely simple ones. Finishing the artillery crew, bowmen and pavises but in the meanwhile some more pictures of the artillery.

Playing around with creating an artillery train but looking for some dinosaur like creatures to pull the limbers. Not very large ones maybe slightly larger than some oxen. In the pictures below some tests with oxen, horses and 3d printed fantasy oxen. Any pointers on suitable dinosaurs or similar creatures to pull these?
