I believe I’ve missed photos of this wizard… when I was a kid I always wondered what adventures the two Blue Wizards from Middle Earth had… so my wizards sre going to be blue.

Wow! I wandered in here and now I am so glad that I did as the work is fascinating. Amazing sculpting and painting, thank you for sharing and I hope this thread continues.

I like your blue fella. Something about his pose is quite endearing, too. He looks like a real chilled-out, laid-back wizard.

Maybe that's why we never found out what the Blue Wizards did. They just chilled the whole time and didn't do anything.  :)

'Blue wizard, blue wizard! there are orcs at the gate!'

'Tell it to the hand soldier, I'm on my tea break.'

I've also just noticed that you could quite easliy swap out that enormous bone for a guitar on that orc shaman.

I should’ve changed the fingers of the orc shaman to look like a proper chord  :D

This Blue Wizard started as a Victrix Saxon monk… maybe that’s why he has a more serene pose :P

I haven’t posted in a while, but the Oathmark armies keep moving… I assembled some elven cavalry and that means a lot of points in elves… but I wanted a palette cleanser and monsters are great for that… I painted a dragon and a Wraith for Oathmark. I was about to paint a Vampire, but instead I decided to sculpt some ogre units… don’t know if I’ll post in here the WIPs or I’ll just go with the final pics, when all is done.

Yeah, that dragon is excellent! I like the glowing effect, like it is radiating heat. The wraith is quite good, too.

The dragon is a Dungeons & Lasers model. Hard plastic, really nice model to work with. Thanks for the comments :)

I like those a lot! The faces and proportions appeal to me and I like the medieval equipment and clothes. Just curious- how do they scale next to 28mm humans? Also, do you plan to do a casting run with them?

The idea is that they’ll fit along my 28mm Oathmark models. I’ll take a picture next to an Oathmark human model next time.
They’ll fit on a 40mm base and the heads and weaponry are going to be modular, as I’m planning to get them cast.

Thanks for the details. They seem like they will be a great addition to your Oathmark army and having head and weapon options will help make every unit unique!

Very nice. That dragon is amazing. The orange colour works so well.
