I got two of the Launch Edition blind boxes:

The best price I've found is at JB HiFi.
NOT buying a 28mm WW2 army for the foreseeable. Deal with it.

Are the new SW fighters the same scale as the Action Fleet ones, or are they smaller?

They each come with one or two minis which appear to be about 15mm - 18mm tall - X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Tie Fighter Proto (Darth's Tie Fighter), and the Millenium Falcon.  I think there is a Slave One too.

Prices are about $14 each, but more for the Falcon.

These do look to be perfect for 15mm/18mm gaming, and should mix well with the older 18mm figures line put out about 20 - 30 years ago, with the prepainted plastic minis.  Wish they would re-release those, since I'd love to have a bunch of Stormtroopers and Rebel Troopers for big battles, along with others for skirmishes too.

The figures are taller than they look. The two in the Slave 1 box are 25mm (Boba Fett is just over 26mm). I believe the others are about the same.

However, the Falcon is far too small for even 25mm, but looked perfect for 15mm, possibly 20mm at a push.

The Slave 1 cockpit will be a bit snug with two 28mm figures, but the ship itself looks fine. It's probably twice as big in every dimension as the Revell one (which now looks tiny next to it).

The TIEs looked 28mm to me, so I would check before trying to use them with 15mm stuff.

I like that walker!  8)

Would it be a good match with WotC minis you reckon? I'm struggling to find these walkers to match them.

The vinyl WotC are too bendy to be of serious use and I got a very nice Titanium Series one that's more like a scale model, but too large and combined diecast/very fiddly plastic bits, without a rider.

So a good sized hard plastic version would be very welcome indeed. (Yes; I know of the Legion one, but it's simply too big to match my WotC collection  ;) ).
