Woohoo!! Parcel arrived.

Have gone for Berglanders and Slovskans. Two of the army deals and some addl artillery crews so I can expand the HMG crews.

These are BIG figures. Wowsers. Hoping I can find suitable vehicles. I was going to use Sloppy Jalopy, but they might be a bit small... Anyone compared them together?

Lovely lovely castings. Guns look easy to assemble. Possibly going to use "World Aflame" or Men Who Would be Kings. Try both I guess.

Cor. Looking forward to some simple paintjobs after doing 1870 French..

I think you'll find Sloppys will be ok. They are 1/48th scale, which in theory is 36mm, & Mark's figures are 30/32mm.

I think any vehicle 1/48th or 1/43rd will do. Keep an eye on Mark's Instagram, I'm sure he'll feature more vehicles there.

Mark will be sharing his home grown rules at some point, but in the meantime try Contemptible Little Armies by Mark's chum Chris Peers.
