Where is the castle from?

(smirk) I built the table at my home myself - she can handle the weight.

The castle is a wooden (mdf, actually) set that was from a company called Grenadier under their Dragon Castles modular castle line. This is the Warlord Keep. From the artwork on the front and sides, it is obviously intended for use with Nick Lund's Fantasy Warriors game, also supported by Grenadier. I got it extremely cheap at the local brrick and mortar, because it had none of the ballista, trap doors, or such with it, and was missing two walls. I think I paid $10 american for it. It has been sitting in the garage next to my old foam GW Mighty Fortress for years, with occasional use. I feel this is a good way to get some better use of it.

Change of plans... I hate being unemployed. Due to monetary restrictions, I can't afford the bits I want to use to finish my mighty Sea Serpent Castle, so I am beginning a different project - one that will allow me to just build from bits I already have.

Of course, being the way I am, it will be an...Aeronef! I'll throw pictures up later...

And here we are - the next addition to my Aeronef fleet. I think this one might be British, or maybe French.

And the final update until I can find some bits and pieces and decide on a paint scheme.



She is not as heavily riveted as a lot of them, because my rivet method isn't effective with the thin materials I have, but she'll do. I have to talk to someone before I do the paint scheme, and we'll be off and running, and get her entered.
