First of all, I want to thank you for your project on the Hungarian uprising! This is very impressive work.
If you need information about the Russian uniform, then it is in the books of Zvegintsev and Viskovatov.

Now, at your request, I am talking about the material.
Frame - copper wire. Then (chest pelvis, etc.) from Magik sculpt + green staff. The figure itself from the procreate paty (top layer)

Thank you! I am very interested in your project since I am building basically exactly  this army as the third faction for the 1848 Hungarian project. Also thanks for the info on sculpting, I use the same method of copper wire+green stuff armature, but I am yet to try Procreate.

Children in 1854 collected kernels and brought them to adults. This painting was the inspiration.


In the future, there will be lancers from the consolidated regiment (if you need historical information, then just tell me about it)

And then a large group of figures about medicine.

Great looking horses! As I tried to sculpt some of them myself, I realized that sculpting a horse is even harder than sculpting a human.

When sculpting, I use the books of Gottfried Bammes.
the figure of a horse is more complicated than the figure of a man - but horses are very interesting animals. Several figures of running horses create the illusion that they are actually running.

They remind me of Foundry horses, the Napoleonic ones sculpted by Alan Perry.

Yes, I also used an artist anatomy book for mine, but the problem is with this approach that you also need a huge amount of simplification, so I also kept an old GW horse at hand
