Got a bit of a Post Apoc/Fallout kick on again so wanted terrain as I'm fairly short on that for this setting.

Got loads of inspiration from Google Images and wanted a flycar similar to that in Fallout 76 but in a brighter colour.

Disney Pixar 1:55 scale car, removed wheels, filled arches, prime, drybrush green, add rust - probably an hour in total.

Looking at the pics I need to add panel line wash to define the gap between bonnet/boot and wings.

Ooh tap, nice one mate  8)

I have a flo in my bits box as well, I was unaware of the hover variety in F4. That may be the ticket for me as well, I'll save that in the brain vault. Check out my other completed Disney cars in my Post Apoc thread :)

It was your thread which put me on to the 1:55 Pixar cars in the first place.

Been looking for a cheap helicopter for ages too to copy your Camper.

I keep an eye out for the flyboxcar plane myself haha. I'd steer clear of the general pixar planes though they are way too small on the whole.

Ooh nice rust effect. So much quicker just going over the origional paint too than stripping. Looks great!

As others have said, very nice effects. I hadn't thought of Pixar cars as a source (exits to follow rabbit hole...)

Light sanding with  1500 grit just to take the edge off.

Some are better scaled than others but generally they look fine with 28mm, I think 32mm humans might look odd, although mutants and monsters would be fine.

Both of those are great conversions.  Well done indeed.

Been out of the loop building and painting wise but need to increase my post apocalyptic terrain, so hit my junk box hard yesterday.

Really like melting bits of plastic slightly with the new gas lighter thingy!!!!!!

Very atmospheric. Is that an espresso pot in the middle?
