A cybernetic ...someone. 3d printed model, I just modified the guns a little bit to look more like bolt pistols.

With these, the "new style Chaos painting" project is over for now, I really enjoyed it, oil paints really fit Chaos. Here are two group shots from the whole batch:

One of my friend got a laser cutting machine, so now I am getting more and more into designing MDF kits. So far mostly movement trays and various bases, but I started to move more into the direction of more serious kits. Now I designed these houses, and made 6 of them. They are to replace my old sci-fi/postapo huts made out of butter boxes, and they also serve as figure holders too. My biggest issue with terrain is the storage space, so one has to make compromises. They were designed to fit both my 28mm and 1/35 gaming.

Cool one! I agree, I'm using my MDF buildings to store my minis, too.  :)

Thank you! Yes, sadly, one has to make compromises, but using them for storage seems like a good one.

I am also renovating some of my old models. A mortar squad and three Rough Rider squads got, well, newly flocked bases, damage repair, in case of the riders new heads, decals, and some additional drybrush to look better.

The riders are converted, two squads on Empire Outrider horses, the last one on Breton knight horses. Sadly they are very fragile and I never found a good solution for storage (+they saw a lot of battles), so there was a lot to repair. I also plan to round them up to three full squads of 10 men (now there are 23 of them).

Borderlands board game figures: the Vault hunters.

...and now the psychos. 12 of them, 3-3 figures of 4 different sculpts (2 male, 2 female)

Suicide psychos

Badass psychos

Skags

The remaining Borderlands boardgame figures.
Bandits:

Goliaths and Raging Goliaths:

Tinks:

Psychoreaver, the boss in the campaign.

All together. Psychoreaver is a giant, the rest are good 30mm eye level figures, fitting most 28mm collections. I will use them as regular thugs in various skirmishes too.

Nice looking figs. I was sorely tempted as I love Borderkands, but resisted in the end. You've done them proud.

Thanks! I also missed the kickstarter, but now it is available in retail, at least the basic box. I hope that the rest will also come.

There is also a skag-themed expansion for this, it might be available soon.

I really like the Chaos Space Marines. Great muted colours, yet enough contrast to make them pop.

Thank you! My painting style is basically pretty dark, with time I learned to add some more colourful elements to make it a bit more flashy :)

A simple sculpt of a scifi scientist- the type who thinks it will be a good idea to use the Aliens as bioweapons despite the fact that the previous 89237422313 attempts ended with the science crew devoured.
