Loving all of the latest stuff. Your gas mask heads are so good! Arty bases also looking really nice to me, good inspiration for future stuff.

New ork, new ork...
Actually not new, I am just experimenting their new colour scheme (with oils). I have a bunch of them painted, but much more unpainted, they will be painted with this new style.

Old and new. You can see why I decided for the new.

Och they’ll intermingle just fine, boss! Love the work on those troopers too, the banners are the icing on the mouldy cake!

Yes, I will mix the old and the new Orks, I will not repaint the old ones. For the 20something old painted ones there are much more unpainted ones anyways.

The psykers are nice minis, where do they come from?

3d prints or conversions?

Thank you! These two are 3d prints (I do not remember where from), I only added the shoulder pads.

I have loads of converted psykers too, 3 squads of them (they were a good unit once). I am now building the 4th.

In these old rules the psyker squads had an overseer who simply shot the psykers in case of the spell going bad. So yeah, better not:)

On other news, two new riders for my Rough Rider squad briefly shown on pg7. They were a squad of 8, now I made 2 more to make them a full 10. My own sculpted figures on Bretonnian Knights horses, the original 8 were made when Bretonnian knights were a thing last time, so not novadays. I would do some things differently today (horse gasmasks having eye protection, more baggage on the horse itself, etc), but the main goal for these two was to seamlessly blend into the existing squad, I did not implement new ideas besides using one of the leftover new Rough Rider lances on the rider on the right.

now try to find the new ones :)

That’s a cool model! I’m always amazed/impressed when folks sculpt their own figures.

On a related note, I like your roughriders conversions, they look quite sharp! The colour palette works well, too, with the red and white shields making a great contrast to the subdued tones on the rest of each model. Very classy!

Thank you! Yes, for the grey base theme I needed some light and vivid heraldy, red-white just does the trick :)

Really cool stuff! Like Pattus I am blown away by your ability to simply sculpt models into existence, really nice work ;)
