I've had to drop out of this now, as we're moving house in a few weeks, so everything is being packed.

It was fun to do it once, but that's enough for me. It ended up taking over my life last time, including having to take time off work to meet the deadlines (I just can't paint fast enough without doing that). Really don't fancy doing all that again.

Sorry, boys. But thanks for thinking of me.  :)

I know where you're coming from there, mate.  I don't really expect I am able to enter something new each round.

Yes, quite a few familiar names and notable painting talents sadly missing-in-action this time...  :(

There again, there are quite a few new names in the ring - so not all bad  ;)

There's no doubt about it - getting ten sets of figures ready in such a short space of time is a tall order for anybody, and somewhat detrimental to other aspects of one's life. As my wife would be the first to tell you.

I confess, I was in two minds myself whether to go for it.

But then I thought, what the hell...  :D

Totally agree
I have just found out today that my new job may be taking me away from home for a couple weeks to Newcastle, in early March :-[
So I may have to miss a couple of rounds this year as well. I wish I could say what the hell and just not go but thats real life interfering with my hobby :'(

I don't really expect to be able to enter a new group every week, but that's the goal.  I'll take it all as it comes!

Good luck to all, some nice entries so far.  I cast some votes, I'm in the no way could I keep up with the volume, plus I need to make terrain and do some character models...

Sorry to disappoint.   :?  I struggled with the pace last time, and RL even more busy at the moment.  I'll be voting though.   :)

You're right about that !
I just joined a few weeks ago especially for the league  ;)

This great forum has only recently come to our attention when we started with Pulp games at our local wargamesclub and I'm still busy reading the older posts to nick an idea here and there  :D

I expected to see a lot of Grenadier/EM4/Copplestone Barbarians for round one, but I'm rather surprised to see all the classic Citadel Barbarians too... It brings a tear of nostalgia to my eye :'(
