Thanks Mr. Cigardude.

How about you are you working on anything VSF or NR currently?  ???

Well, I´m working allright, but sadly not on anything tabletop related. Maybe next week. Was thinking about doing a NR vehicle for the bumpersticker painting competition at powerfist, and then there´s the infamous steamelephant who keeps giving me the paint-me-paint-me-stare whenever I walk past it.

I'm with you on the bumper sticker competition. How does "My other car is a Ramshackle Huntsman Spider" sound?! ;d

Yes, most amusing. What is the bumper sticker thing at powerfist?

Dagnammit! I even changed the side he held it on advice. Bad advice it seems! Of well, I end up sculpting loads of lefties anyway. I guess its from looking in the nirror for reference, the right becomes the left....

Just remember that us lefties do appreciate when figures aren't always right-handed. ;)

It's a running competition they have on the danish wargaming forum, each week (or is it month?) there's a competition with a theme that's decided by the last week's winner - found here:

We finally managed to get some NR gaming done.

Jonas and I met up and tried out an uneven match of 450 pts Giggles vs. 650 pts of Water Merchants.

As it would turn out this was rather good as Jonas had forgotten to add his aptitude to all his stats and we didn't discover it until mid game.

All in all it was a good system and we're definitely going to use this for future post apocalypse gaming. In fact. I'm quite eager to get some apocalypse going.  lol

Main hassles were figuring out the Gilgamesh suit. We wrote Curtiss and asked him what on Earth he meant and it actually made total sense after that. Hehe.

I especially like the way vehicles work and have some detail without going overboard and bugging everything down.

Thumbs up Ramshackle dudes!

There's (I hear) a new book on the way for the system with some extra bits and bops, and a whole slew of bikers are coming too (which incidentally as you can see in this thread is what I've been working on lately anyway)

Water Merchant setup. Will they get the precious drops into Junk Town?

Not if the Giggles Clan can help it. Letting all that scrap and machinery pass by unhidered is unthinkable! We neeeed your parts Manlings!

So far so good so off road

In the distance Gilgamesh emerges (seemingly backed up by a giant hand with a rule book - doesn't get any safer than that!)

It would seem that the cross section is the venue of tonights fight. Everyone is entering it.

Water Merchant Goons lurking

A lot of the fighting stood between the towering Gilgamesh and some merchant scum

The ramming rules turned out to be quite effiecient and was testing intensively. Here by the Ram Stoat.  lol

Great game.

I found out, giving your driver goon a shotgun and putting him inside an armoured crew compartment was a bad idea, when he only hass two action points. One point to open the hatch, two more points to shoot the shotgun, eeeh... d'oh...

Yeah, most of the time its better to have a dedicated driver and then another guy with the gun.

I am indeed working on a new book, its the campign rules plus hundreds of new skills and equipement, plus rules for zombies, robots, animals and more stuff.....

I made my gang before I read the rules, so I made many mistakes, but I can start to correct them now and hope it helps...

I wish there were rules for more different weapons though, of course lot of the weapons are pretty generic and the rules can be used for weapons which are close to similar and such, but I miss weapons like bows and crossbows and I wouldn't know what weapon stats to use for such weapons, but I think many people would use them in a PA world with limited acces to guns and ammo.

"At an old gin joint in Junktown called Roy's you can find all kinds of crap. This is especially true if
you come searching for anything of worth and you don't know your way around Junktown traders yet.

Rommel - the first og foremost leader of the scrunts - was low on cash and had come to Roy's to trade some slaves
for whereabouts of anything of worth.

The map had cost him two off of the Meat Wagon, but the cannibals bred like lice anyway, so it probably wasn't that bad.
The bartender had promised him that the map was genuine and no one else had been there to scoop up the stash..

Grumli was waiting outside Roy's in the Land Train with the whole menagerie. He puffed an extra time on his smoke stick upon seeing the map.
Full speed ahead sir.

Out in the Deep Wastes there's no sure way of knowing just where you are. Or where what is! So the bits of maps
are glimpses of the strange past that leads straight to the treasure hoards of the renaissance: scrap, bins, bottle caps, bits,
bops and other valueable trash that no one else has had a chance to scavenge yet.

This was just the promise of the map Rommel had bought. Now if only those pesky gangers he'd bought it from weren't
up to no good...."
