Wood was actually very prevailent as a building material in Victorian times

even on Mars

Thought long and hard about the legs and in the end realised I could not think of an easier way to make them in the shape I wanted and have the strength to support everything else.

Not the best pics, camera low on power and very bad lighting but they will give you a rough idea.

One of the Shropshire two will be painting it and doing the base.
