Luckily I figured it out, just before getting tarred with the same brush. My secret is safe...  

Do need something on the end to suggest 'not cannon'. Maybe S-cutout like naval torpedo launchers.

Space 1889's Ironclads and Ether Flyers had drogue torpedoes (on a wire, used like ACW torpedoes, but dragged into targets), aerial torpedoes fired straight ahead, and the Smuts Discharger, which steam-launched what was basically an aerial torpedo with liftwood vanes to let it 'fly' other than level or down. Any applicable ideas?

the steam launched version appears interesting and appropriate
since airships aren't supposed to be similarly armoured like water-ships, some shrapnel warhead or incendiary seems appropriate

Hey ho, on we go 

Got the docking station out again and had a bit of thought about the sides as they seem a little plain. So, the idea is to have some slightly protruding brick balconies to both help break up the monotony and to have a bit more firepower brought to bear on any marauding skiffs.

I'm thinking there'll be three and an entrance.

Far too much. I'm not going to a show again as a punter, it's too easy to buy things 

It was very busy; due, I believe, to Colours not being on. Although it will be next year apparently.
