Great report.

(I asked this on your TMP post, so pardon the repetition. Did you make the road yourself? If so, how? Thanks.)

Splendid AAR... :)

Had a few laughs going trough Captain Chase report, can only imagine what great fun you folks had by playing the scenario. The blinds looks interesting.
Best regards

Lovely stuff, I am very much enjoying the eye candy of your games as well as the stories which unfold during each encounter. ;D

I am now seriously considering Sharpe Practise for my Tex/Mex games. :)

Can't help but be impressed by the spectacle of that firing line on the edge of the field. A wonderful sight.

Thanks for all the nice comments.  :)

Anyone considering Sharp Practice will not be disappointed and it is fairly easily adapted to most Black Powder eras.

Malamute, I think it will suite your Tex/Mex games perfectly. The big Z, is Big Man materiel for sure.

Schogun, the roads were scratchbuilt and are actually pretty simple. I did not come up with the idea, and stole borrowed it from somewhere (I forget now). They are basically "mounting board" (for mounting paintings - go figure) cut to shape, with mastic gutters, covered with sand and lightly flocked. They are durable, pliable and fairly realistic. Hope that helps.

Christian, hopefully you can join us next time - we've a tea (or vindaloo) set aside!

Just introducing myself Just so Furt (Fsultana) doesnt steal all the glory, got to watch those Indo chappys, sneaky devils.
We both have alot of fun playing and writing up our madness, I really enjoy playing the period and my imagination goes haywire. The Sharpes Practice rules are great for our sense of humour is pretty much out there (and just keeps on going)
Thank you for all the positive feed backs Im surprised my reports are enjoyed that much, makes me nervous now *spills over his inkwell and curses*
Im looking forward to meeting you Christian and haveing a spot of tea!  :D

Gorgeous .. going through your wonderful blog now. May I ask, what is your red recipe for the British coats on Capt Chase's men? Looks great ...
"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

A basecoat of Vallejo Model Colour (VMC) Black Red, with highlights done in GW Blood Red. For the officers who had red sashes, P3 Sanguine base/Blood Red to make them stand out a bit from the rest of their uniforms.
