Blacksmith
« on: 11 February 2011, 07:25:07 PM »
Does anyone make a 25/28mm blacksmith figure?
My searches have all come to naught.
Thanks

There's this set from foundry

http://wargamesfoundry.com/other_ranges/single_packs/civilian/any/blacksmith_civ008/

Or the one here from Reaper

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/townsfolk/sku-down/02584

They maybe more 'fantasy' - but a leather apron and hammer goes for all ages!

Westwind make a ncie one in their Gothic Horror range in the village personalitites pack, but he is wearing a fez... Apart from that he would be fine for old west use, just do a head swap or remove the fez.

This is a nice blacksmith for a wild west game from the wargames foundry:

The Perry ACW field forge has a nice farrier making a horseshoe. He doesn't look noticeably military and would suit an Old West setting well I think.

Only problem is you have to buy the whole forge set to get him.

EDIT; Plynkes beat me to it... lol

Well, we're in "Old West" and I reckon a brimmed hat isn't going to look out of place there.

UPS! using the "recent" widget i often don't understand in wich section i'm in! :)

ok, probably a blacksmith forging a sword is not the most appropriate in the Old West, my apologies ^^
