And 48 in LPL3 - although one withdrew halfway through (no, I don't really understand why either), so I also withdrew to keep the numbers even, so we ended up with 46... 

46 seems the magic number. I figure it will be there or thereabouts once again.

Is it really possible to 'withdraw'? I'd thought once you are in, you are in. If not I think the rules should say so.

IMHO shouldn't be possible to withdraw.
If anybody doesn't want to continue the competition, his last entry will be automatically submitted until the end.
