Any chance you could stand some of those up against 1980s citadel? The fat guy with the goatee in particular...

yes, I'm just painting an old Citadel mini, will post a pic next days.

Ah so they could match up? Are yopu basing the same way of bigger for the citadel?

Which mini

As you can guess I can't wait!

I'm basing the same way, cutting off the slotta and sticking it to a 5 cent coin. That old Citadel one  (no idea what code/range, looks like a duelist with a pistole) is fitting the fat guy very well, the both modern GW fighters on the pic are a bit bigger.

Those new minis are excellent! Great paint jobs. I was just looking at them on the GW site, thinking about the duelists for a Marienberger Mordheim warband. Now I know I need to get them. I second the request for some painted Bruegelburgers.

Maybe. But *heim has already been used by Mordheim and *burg by Bruegelburg. I wanted something else, so *town.

Apart from that it's a reference to my Old West project http://oldwest.witchhunter.net/

I suppose dorf and stadt wouldn't fit with Witch either, it just didn't seem Germanic enough for the Old World....

Fantastic paint jobs, Prof!

Those are some of the best, if not THE best figures that GW currently produce.
You have done them justice.

That guy with the fish on his head cracks me up every time that I see him!

Awaiting the next wave with some serious anticipation..............

Didnt have to wait long!!!

More excellence from the Prof!
Loving all of these. Did consider buying these myself and thought NO at the price.
You are making me reconsider.
GRRRRRRR.........

Great job on the figure's paint as well as the few terrain pieces we can see in the background.  Thanks for sharing!

The Prof: "Another bunch, some mordern GW Empire miniatures, wish they would bring out more of that kind."

Completely agree!  Loads of characters, those figs (they fit in nicely with the Bruegelberg figures).  And you did a brilliant job with them.
