I like the buildings painted.
They look fine.
I know as I get older I may not turn out figures quite as nice as I use to,
but none of the guys I play with have ever turned down a chance to play with them.

That looks fantastic!

I love that the base cost for materials was under $10. Very inspiring, and it makes me want to try a similar project.

I'm living with my parents until the purchase of our new house goes through, and I've been stuck without any manner of painting/gaming/modelling for two months. I decided that I could manage something like this on the dining table in between meals, and have spent the last two weeks assembling a huge pop stick town which I'll paint in red-browns to imitate the newly-cut/northern American timber of the buildings in the Deadwood TV series. Many thanks for sharing your process on this project; without it I would have been very bored this last fortnight!
Now I just need some cowboy miniatures...
