So you don't like it then ;) ? Those B'dass are dreadful sculpts... I hope mine will be better than those.

I didn't know those B'Dasses but I rather like them. You have to admit that there's a similarity though. In this case mostly pose and baret, but still. That said, your sculpts are better ;)

Hahaha, not ment that way.... I think the B'Dass are not my cup of tea either, but the ones wearing baret is the better of them and it was mostly this and the more modern uniform that reminded me.

Personally I would rather see some more GW Squat like Space Dwarfs, but I deffinately think there is market for all sorts of space dwarfs.

Your sculpting skill is good though.

Cheers :D .

It is OK, I took the comment for what it was and was not offended :D .

I am going for a sort of ultra-modern look to my Dwarfs so they will look a bit more functional than a lot of the ones out there.

... but I hope they will fit in with a Squat type of Dwarf... I am not planning on reinventing the Grymn or anything.

Depending on height (I use low to mid 20's mm to top of head figures for Fantasy dwarves,) I could use them for a platoon of time traveller figures or as descendants of my Der Kriegspieler/early Ral Partha Dwarf fantasy characters.

Light to no body armor works for me but heavier body armor would be workable I suppose.

Glenn

I like the look. The gun is OK & I do like thevariety of weapons on the weapons sprue. Definately something I would seriously look to get a squad or so.

whoa, that's a nice sculpt. Much better than the Mantic ones which are ugly imo. Somehow your version looks more "realistic" :).

I'm sorry but until I have some basic troops, there will be no berserks :(.

Anyway, I have started to add body armour to the sculpt now:

Once I have tidied the gaps and cleaned him up a bit, he will be ready for casting to use as a dolly. I plan on sculpting four more in different poses to the same standard (no arms/head/equipment) before getting some masters cast up for me to sculpt the arms on. I am not sure about heads yet... so I will wait to decide what to do (separate heads or sculpted on).

Should be fun :).

Keep an eye on  http://insosworld.blogspot.co.uk/  for more details.

Good :)

I wish I could have them ready soon but I have a lot of work to do on them yet so finished casts are a long way off :(

Really like the body armor but buying, as before, depends on size compatibility with current stuff.

Gracias,
