Glad to hear you plan to continue with your effing alliteration. This promises us further happy viewing in the future. Would like to attempt it after a few but am on the wagon until end of August! Self imposed, but still difficult.

Here's attempt no.2 at modifying the horse barding. I personally think no.1 to be the better of the two but I think this one also satisfies the brief of bringing the figures into a later period.

I daresay no.1 was also a lot easier to do aswell.

It's been a while since I did a horse armour conversion. I found myself looking up this post as a re-cap before I got the scalpel and green stuff out.

I've decided that I prefer this light frontal horse armour, the inspiration was the Pavia tapestry which is a little late for my army (1513) but I like the look a bit better, it seems to bring the figure out of the 1480's and into the 1500's.
