Thanks guys!
 :D
I am really digging the old Chaos Dwarfs as well.
Its funny, because I am not really a "dwarf" guy normally.

Here's the other fellow from the blog in case you missed the clicky bit.

I am hoping to score some more some day.
 :D
Next up will be a lot of Chaos Thugs and some Olley Beastmen.

I love how you've made the armor look burnished and used at the same time!

Hello Aggro, fantastic paint job on these classic minis, your style is so grimy and dirty, makes the minis look mean and battle worn; love them  :-*. I also really like the bases with all the mushrooms, the bases suit your painting style.

Cheers,
 Damien

Thanks Jevenkah and Damien.
Much obliged.

Damien, you are the first person to notice the mushrooms.
I think they add a lot of character to the bases.

All things considered, I don't know how I possibly missed commenting on the Mushrooms...you NEVER outgrow your need for Mushrooms. At any rate, you're right, Mushrooms add a lot to a Fantasy base. The Guy standing next to the Mushroom also turned out TERRIFIC; the brushwork & subdued color choices enhance the Mushrooms WONDERFULLY. VERY WELL DONE!

This coming from the mushroom master himself...

I took a few WIP shots a few minutes ago as the sun was setting out here in California.

A couple more shots and my brief thoughts on the use of a wet pallet at the blog thingy.

More great additions to your collection, aggro.
These figures really suit your more muted paint pallette.
Lovely!

Thanks Mason and einarolafson!
I still feel a little uncomfortable painting as it has been so long...
I am still getting my groove back!

You look to be groovin' away!

It's just like riding a bike. (At least that's what my husband keep telling me as there are 4 Nick Lund Orcs waiting for me to touch up on the painting tray.)

Keep the pix coming please.

You're definitely getting your groove back...quickly. It's good to see some Old Friends getting a FINE paint job applied with a deft touch. GREAT WORK!
