Which Dredd Minis?

The Mongoose stuff is not bad, I reckon, but sticking with your collection of classic minis, I reckon you should go '80's Citadel, mate.

I'd say anything but the Citadels, but that's because I don't want any more competition on E-Bay right now. 

If you want something smaller, and original, I'd have to say Citadel. For price and availability I'd say Mongoose. I have no opinion on the Foundry stuff because those are way too much for someone in the states.

The Foundry ones are a damn site easier to paint, but I doubt you will be doing them yourself anyway. Wait for the next mega sale and fill your boots. There is no joy like paying the earth for an old Citadel and breaking his ankles when he arrives

You Sir have shocked me, perhaps I need to search out my dueling brush!

I'll have you know I have some brushes and five post of paint (plus two wases), though no blue or yellow......

80's Citadel are my favourites, capture the feel best, but, they are getting pricey, but I do have a bagful of painted ones i'm thinking of selling! 
Mongoose are the most available and nice sculpts, but may or may not get a whole range out of them
Foundry are lovely, I have them all but I think of them a s display pieces rather than gaming with, again an incomplete range

If I go for Dredd I'd have to do it bit by bit so I suppose Citadel would suit that most, adding the fun of finding them.....

First I need to mix green and yellow from tin bitz, chainmail and black!!!!!!

But starting the collection is a long way off as I have other commimets at the moment... it's just I found my old Judge Giant and a few badly painted minis the other day....

Unfortunatly not as many as other newer releases... Laserburn predates GW's releases.... Well to be honest Laserburn is a precursor to 40k and by that extension GW's Dread.....

Painting minis a few at a time is how I get through most projects. The minute my lead pile for any single project gets too big I immediately loose interest and find some other shiny objects to occupy my time.

I prefer the Mongoose Option myself. Far cheaper and it's getting bigger as a range.

The Foundry stuff will fit in for just a few characters.

The Citadel ones look really squat in comparison. Again, good for the odd character (like Don Uggie, Fast Eek and Joe Bananas!)

Sorry to revive this ...

Sorely tempted with a few Mongoose figures [Angel Gang, Dredd, Walter and maybe a PSI] but Foundry is an option as i work out of Nottingham now and again.

Thoughts on the figures please (the price is ridiculous so lets take that as read)
