Took a break from the buildings today although the landing pad has progressed a little bit.
For the Salute 14 participation game I plan to have a couple of 'random' elements in the form of citizens that perhaps do not know whose side they are on or perhaps aren't on either side. And who will behave in a seemingly erratic way.
One such character is Walter and his dog Donny. These are WIP:

Now Walter is a vet, he's seen action before but he thought he'd had enough. He tends to hang out at the laser-pin alley with his friends, relaxing, drinking beer and of course, playing a bit of laser-pin. He also runs a small fast food stall, a bit like one of those vans that you see selling bacon butties, sludgy coffee and other barely recognisable food and drink. Thing is, there is no way he is going to surrender his little patch of freedom to anyone. So, along with Donny he patrols his neighbourhood, sometimes shooting at shadows when they make him jump. Somehow Donny avoids being shot at, but kicks up a din. Walter can often be heard shouting at his dog when out for a walk, typically it's 'Shut the frak up Donny!'
