French VSF troops 1
« on: October 09, 2012, 03:15:39 AM »
These are French WW1 troops painted as VSF troops. Many European powers developed counter measures to the Martian's black smoke weapon. The shape and colour of the masks caused those issued them to be dubbed "white mice" by their compatriots. I realy like the way the Adrian helmets go with the traditional blue and red French uniforms. The miniatures are from Old Glory's WW1 No Man's Land line.

Very cool! Did you add the masks yourself or did they come like that?

I've noticed there are some hidden gems from Old Glory that often get overlooked.

I'm quite fond of Old Glory miniatures. The compay produces ranges from Ancient to Modern in house and carry Blue Moon and West Wind figures as well.Their WW1 line is 25mm, their 19th cen. Colonial line is 28mm.
