It seemed churlish to mention the gauntlets when the figures (including the new one) were so beautifully painted.  ;)

Also, some gauntlets did have cloth or velvet covering on the hand and wrist bits (technical term escapes me at the moment), often red, green, blue or purple.

I love how you paint your miniatures. The colors you use are spot-on and the blending is seamless. I also love how you paint your metals. Over-all, nice crisp paintwork!

Excellent job.

Gorgeous! I'm rather envious on you, both for owning these models and painting them to a very high standard. :o
Actually, I'm hoping for the new management at Foundry's to discover the moulds for these in their pile sometime soon…

And he's done!

I've got another two knights prepped and ready to go so I'll work through those when I can and then I might look at doing some retainers. Got archers, crossbowmen and a small selection of retainers with various weapons (there's a cannon and crew too but that's not really warband fodder - yet) to pick from. Picked up a pack of Foundry HYW civvies that are a good match for baggage train types as well. I'm holding off on doing mounted knights and yeomen as they're a bit more time consuming.

Finally managed to finish another knight.

The ermine are decals so I can't take any credit for those unless you count how much faffing around they took  lol

Were they individual stickers?  or a sheet for each "square"?  I know decals can be a pain in the ass!

I printed out a strip and managed to apply them as such on one quarter but the other quarters all needed them to be put on individually. A lot of faffing around but it worked out alright in the end.

Another wonderful addition to the warband.

And extra kudos for having the patience to arse around with the decals.

"Faffing" counts; I'd never have the patience or dexterity to apply teensy little decals like that. The quality of your brushwork & basing are also REMARKABLE...WONDERFULLY WELL DONE!

Been a while since I posted anything in this thread but I recently finished off another knight. He'd been sitting on my desk half painted since last year so I finally got my finger out and finished him off. Here's a group shot of all five models so far. I'll post a few more pics of the new guy later (he's the Mr fancy pants with the the blue and white lozenge heraldry) when I've got a little more time to faff about with them.

Spectacular! They look great all lined up like that. Now they need some comical Orcs from the mid-80s to fight!
