I put my pledge down for Dark Legion level.
Are you serious about wanting feedback? Because Warzone is my favorite wargame and I have many and very strong opinions about it and how it have been handled by other companies before.

The Mishima Doomtrooper announcement made me increase my pledge to Dark Legion and more...

I always loved that mini, here is my old take on the even older mini:

I think I've written this email twice already then deleted it, but...

Are my old WZ figs worth nothing now?

Yes, I assume I can use them until the new sculpts come out (assuming the unit type is still in the game). But all the vets (like me) have tons of figs already and anyone new is going to buy the new sculpts.

I think I missed any window I may have had...

Personaly,  I hope the units cards will be available separatly, so we can use our v1 minis. Regarding this statement (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=50271.15) :

Quote
Q. Can I still use my old miniatures in the new game?
A. Yes indeed, but given the new designs, you won't want to!

It will be hopefully available.

If not, I'll probably stay with V1 ruleset, and complete my collection (especially for figures not available anymore) with some new sculpts.

Off course they will sell the cards seperatly. Even if they did not you could just look it up in the rule book or online. And off course the old minis will be usable, love for the old game is what brought this team into this project to begin with.

What stops you from using any minis you wish for any game?
It's just toys after all - your toys :)
I also have lots of WZ stuff, haven't played for ages but also think I will get some fresh deaders to upgrade the collection.

In this case, I agree that the cards will very probably be available separately (tho I haven't yet seen it confirmed) but there is no reason for the unit stats to be in the rulebook or online (this last with official permission). In fact it makes little sense to make both units cards and to use space for the unit stats in the rulebook.

Uh...since when was Warzone actually worth anything lately? Only thing I know that sells well is the Hurricane Walker. The rest isn't worth that much...
So I guess the price of your stuff actually increases when this game is released!

Warmachine sells cards and have unit stats in the books. The cards are just a practical helping tool for playing at the table without having the books everywhere. Warmachine is the suckess story of miniature gaming latly so doing the same thing as them with the cards cant hurt. Also the way Warmachine published their books reminds me on how Warzone published their game in the first edition.
