Well. I jumped on the KS bandwagon and backed this.
It appears with early bird special II, and stretch goals, I think I did ok.  I guess now comes a LONG wait for the minis.  :)
Just have to remember to hide Visa bill.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Since they're pretty much all character figures there's not as many as if you were buying Napoleonics, for example. Maybe your wife will see a few dozen figures (or so!) and not realise their true value!  :D Unless, of course, that's all she's used to you buying anyway.

By the way, does anyone in the UK fancy going 50/50 on a set of 4 hansom cabs?

Very tempting!

However, I suspect (...expect?) that as the KS wears on, there may be a variety pack of 4 vehicles for £40. If that's the case, then I might prefer that (say two cabs, a coach and an omnibus for example).

BTW, does anybody know if there will be rules for vehicles in the expansion? Even if they are just for a scenario (like a chase through London for example), that would be very cool!

If there was a 'variety pack' option I'd probably be up for that too! I don't game VSF or Steampunk but I do like Gothic horror/ Jack the Ripper stuff and some of the new figs look great for that. The vehicles will compliment them nicely.

If I understand it correctly you can shift money about in your pledge on kickstarter, it's not until it ends when you actually pick the models you are after within the pledged sum you put up.

That's it : first you burn virtual money, then (once the raise is over) you realize you have to pay real money  :-X
