Verrry nearly done. But I've been filling the cloak in and I've no idea how well it might cast in one piece, if at all.  Can I ask any pros and experts to take a look, tell me what they think?  Also, what about the length of the legs? As far as I can tell they're in proportion, but from the front they look a bit stumpy...

(I know I say this every time, but again, sorry! I shock myself with passage of time between posts.)

Looks great. I'm in if it's cast up.

The lower right leg & cape might be a challenge to cast with the usual two part mold...

The legs look fine. His collar and cowl make him look like he has a (slightly) big head (he doesn't), which is probably making you think his legs are too short in proportion.

He's a stocky fellow, and not particularly tall, but he doesn't look wrong.

I think he looks great. I suspect it's the boots throwing your eye off, they are just above the knee, close enough that your brain is probably putting the joint at the top of the boot unless you think about it. Legs look fine.

Cloak doesn't look to be a problem with casting. The general bulk it gives the figure will create a larger cavity in the mould which will allow the metal to fill those little points at the bottom without too much trouble. You have two potential rip points that I can see, but without holding the green it's hard to know for certain, they might not be an issue.

The bottom right of the cloak where it curls around his foot, you've filled the bottom but how deep is the hollow at the top between the boot and the cloak? If it's only shallow and smooth then it's not an issue.

The gap between the left arm and the torso, under the cowl has a rather deep shadow in that first pic. It could just be the angle and light but think of the rubber being a plug that goes into it. If that plug narrows as it goes into the recess then it will come out fine, if it gets wider then it might get stuck and rip, which means subsequent casts won't have that recess any more.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Look at JSA Liberty Files, outstanding WW2 story with Bats, Hourman & Dr, Midnight. Great designs & a great read to boot!
