Really nice! Very PA. Love the details.

Maybe a little too rusted everywhere though. Looks like it was abandoned and not in use. I would expect less rust inside the cabin at least. I am not an expert on rust.
Untreated iron and steel on sea water? There will be rust everywhere.

Yes lots of rust everywhere but made of rust? It just seems to me that even post-apoc "sailors" would maintain their boat a little bit at the risk of it totally falling apart mid-voyage and drowning in a toxic sludge river. Still looks good anyway.

A nice magnesium bar with electricity would slow it down.  :D

I suppose some plastic could be found, fiberglass, or aluminum, or driftwood. Plenty of ways to justifiably break up the rusty look if he wants.

That will look great on the gaming table.  After all, desperate times call for desperate river craft.

Spent the last two weeks camping with Mrs Zafarelli and my son, and had some other business to attend to, but now I'm back 8)

Scurv, tons of great ideas, thanks for that!

Regarding the rust issue: I guess all materials will be affected by the salt and/or toxic water in one way or another. I don't imagine the colour to be necessarily rust, but all sorts of algae, dirt and other environment influences.

Anyway, I glued the main parts together and started adding details.

Some stowage, tied down with a net. I have also added a second mast construction (for want of a better word) midships.

Closeup of the main mast with lots of ropework. I have also started to add furniture into the cabin. One of the finished benches is slightly visible behind the mast.

I really have to do some special rules for this one. Apparently unsinkable by the Godzilla I planned ;)

Beautiful - really starting to come together. So what's planned for the next craft (because there can't just be one on the water :))?

Will there be an additional go-over to add scum? Waterline sludge, mysterious stains, and the like?

Thanks, people!

Skander, I have plans to hang the skull of Godzilla's wife from the bowsprit We'll see how he reacts to that  >:D

Von Lucky, no plans for more, currently. But if I do another boat, it will be a something like a Zodiac.

Fram, most definitely. Unfortunately, the glue warped the underconstruction slightly, so that the barrels don't sit flat on the surface. I hope some flock and other assorted stuff, painted like algae, water plants and dead fish will mend this.
